The control method is applied to the mobile terminal, the mobile terminal is provided with an internet flow-free card and a universal flow card, and the control method comprises the steps of receiving a data requestsent by a first application, wherein the first application is an application program conforming to a flow-free matching rule in the mobile terminal; when the data request is matched with the flow-freematching rule, switching to a data network provided by the internet flow-free card; and when the data request is not matched with the flow-free matching rule, switching to the data network provided by the universal flow card. When the mobile terminal monitors that the flow-free application supported by the internet flow-free card is started and detects that the data content of the application request does not belong to th
