The invention provides a connector. A lock arm comprises: a lock arm body (50) supported by an insulating housing (4); a pawl part (60) projecting outward from the lock arm body (50) and locked over alock part of a mating connector; and a release projection part (70) deflecting the lock arm body (50) by being pressed from the outside and releasing the engagement of the pawl part (60) with the lock part. The release projection part (70) is formed by an outward ribs (71) alternately arranged with outward grooves (72).
