The invention provides a defluorination treatment system and method for production wastewater. The defluorination treatment system for the production wastewater comprises a first efficient clarification tank system, a second efficient clarification tank system, a sludge concentration tank, a sludge dehydration device and a wastewater collection device, wherein the first efficient clarification tank system and the second efficient clarification tank system have the same structure and respectively comprise a mixing tank, a coagulation tank, a flocculation tank, a transition tank, a sedimentationtank and a post-mixing tank. A water outlet is formed in the upper part of the sedimentation tank main body; a water outlet of the sedimentation tank main body is positioned above the filler layer, and is connected with a water inlet tank of a post-mixing tank; and a water outlet of the post-mixing tank is connected with an external drainage main pipeline.
