Zusammenfassung:An improved method for estimating the characteristic properties of a magnetic material as if they were measured in a closed-circuit environment. The method utilizes open-circuit measurements obtainedusing a pulsed field magnetometer and a computer model of the magnetic body. An iterative method is used which allows the calculation of an accurate closed-circuit characteristic. The method is more general than previous solutions, being applicable to any three-dimensional volume.
