Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a device for aligning an impact of a tubular preform of an optical waveguide, said device comprising: a rotation device (202) which rotates the preform about a rotational axis; a reactive gas supply (232) which supplies a reactive gas inside the preform; a burner device (221) which is associated with the preform so as to be movable in a longitudinal direction along the rotational axis and which brings an outer surface of the preform to a temperature by means of a coating flame so that part of the reactive gas is deposited internally on an inner wall of the preform andis melted to form a transparent layer; and an impact correction device (224), said impact correction device being arranged at a first longitudinal distance along the longitudinal direction from the coating flame and being designed such that the preform is aligned by means of a first compressed air device, in particular a compressed air nozzle (215), using compressed air.
