Zusammenfassung:The invention discloses a bridge detection device and method capable of automatically realizing detection surface conversion. The device comprises a first wall-climbing robot, a second wall-climbing robot, adsorption devices, driving devices, a detection device, a working surface conversion device and a power supply device, wherein the adsorption devices are mounted on a chassis of the first wall-climbing robot and a chassis of the second wall-climbing robot, and the adsorption devices are used for adsorbing the surface of a bridge; and the driving devices are arranged on the chassis of the first wall-climbing robot and the chassis of the second wall-climbing robot, and the driving devices are used for driving the first wall-climbing robot and the second wall-climbing robot to walk along the surface of the bridge.
