Zusammenfassung:	A mold device (1) that can produce a member formed from aluminum, is provided with: a mold (10); and a molten metal supply part. The mold (10) can form a cavity (100) that can be filled with molten aluminum metal. The mold (10) has a base portion (111) formed from iron, and a surface portion (113). The surface portion (113) is provided on the cavity (100) side of the base portion (111), and contains at least 20 wt% of chrome. A dichromium trioxide film (114) can be formed on the surface (115) of the surface portion (113) on the cavity (100) side.
