According to the method for preparing low-sodium spherical alumina powder by using the centrifugal spray tower, industrial aluminum oxide or aluminum hydroxide serves as a main raw material, the industrial aluminum oxide or aluminum hydroxide, water, a dispersing agent, a sodium removing agent and a binding agent are mixed and subjected to ball milling to be prepared into slurry, then the slurry is atomized and dried through the centrifugal spray tower to be prepared into spherical granulated powder, finally the obtained spherical granulated powder is calcined, and the low-sodium spherical aluminum oxide powder is prepared.
