A saddle-type vehicle is provided and includes: a leg shield that covers a down frame extending backward and downward from a head pipe pivotally supporting a steering system and that also covers legsof a rider from front; a front wheel mounted at a lower end of the steering system; a hydraulic front wheel brake device for applying braking force to the front wheel; and an ABS modulator for adjusting the braking force of the front wheel brake device. The ABS modulator is mounted on the down frame within the leg shield while being offset to one side of the down frame in a right-left direction.
