The method comprises the following steps: segmenting an original video file into a plurality of slices according to a preset duration to form an original slice set; respectively generating N watermark slice sets according to the original slice set and N preset different watermarks; when the user needs to play the video, acquiring a unique identifier of the user, and converting the unique identifier into a numerical sequence in a preset format; respectively extracting corresponding slices from the N watermark slice sets according to an extraction strategy and the sequence and the value of each numerical value of the numerical value sequence, and sequentially combining the extracted slices into a slice sequence; and sequentially playing the corresponding slices according to the sequence of the slice sequences to form a video stream. By applying the method, a pirated screen recording user can be identified, the video copyright is effectively protected, and the me
