METHOD FOR MONITORING THE FUNCTIONS OF A FRICTION CLUTCH

The invention relates to a method for monitoring the functions of a friction clutch (4), which is arranged in a vehicle between a drive motor (2) and a compressor (6) of a compressed air supply system(10) and can be disengaged and engaged pneumatically. In the delivery mode of the compressor (6) at least one operating parameter is detected and evaluated by sensor in an electronic control unit (16) and, in the event that a slip mode of the friction clutch (4) is identified, a value stored in the control unit (16) for a disconnection pressure (pcut-off) of the compressor (6) is reduced.
