The invention discloses a method for detecting thermoduric bacteria in CIP cleaning residual water. The method comprises the following steps: (1) measuring 50-150 mL of residual water, filtering the residual water by using a filtering device under a sterile operation, and collecting microorganisms in the residual water onto a filtering membrane; (2) carrying out enrichment culture, i.e., culturingthe filtering membrane by using a first culture medium at 35-37 DEG C for 36-60 hours; (3) diluting the bacterial colony cultured in the step (2) in a diluent, and carrying out treatment at 85-100 DEG C for 10-20 minutes; (4) respectively measuring 1 mL of a diluent after heat treatment as a first sample and a second sample, respectively carrying out culturing for 36-60 hours at 32-38 DEG C and 50-60 DEG C by using a second culture medium, and carrying out counting; and (5) carrying out Gram staining and microscopic examination.
