The disclosure concerns a communication device (102) comprising a housing (104) with a front body (106) and a main body (108). The front body (106) comprises a display unit (110) having a plurality oflayers (114, 116, 118, 120, 122) attached to one another. The plurality of layers (114, 116, 118, 120, 122) comprises a suspension layer (116) and a second layer (114, 118, 120, 122), wherein one ofthe layers is a display (120). At two opposing edges (128) of the suspension layer (116), the suspension layer (116) extends laterally beyond at least the second layer (114, 118, 120, 122). The suspension layer (116) is suspended by attachment of the two opposing edges (128) to the main body (108). The suspended display unit (110) is e.g. used for sound emission by the assistance of an actuator (136).
