The invention discloses a fastening ring for mounting and fixing a cable of a power transmission device and an implementation method of the fastening ring. In the prior art, when a cable is installedand fixed, whether the cable is stably installed or not cannot be guaranteed, the installation process is complex and limited by the diameter of the cable, and the device cannot handle a phenomenon that an outer wall of the cable is abraded due to expansion caused by heat and contraction caused by cold. The fastening ring is advantaged in that due to installation of a limiting hose, the cable is positioned in an inner cavity of a ring body, if the temperature rises, an outer surface expands, a limiting hose is a component made of a rubber material, the expansion ring has certain elasticity, can expand an inner wall of the ring body when the outer wall of the cable expands, avoids the phenomenon that the outer wall of the cable expands and is damaged due to high mounting tightness, can guarantee stable mounting of
