The invention discloses a preparation method of a rubber covered roller with ceramic blocks embedded into an outer rubber layer. The preparation method comprises the following steps of first, carryingout surface treatment on a roller core, coating an interface adhesive to the roller core and wrapping an inner rubber layer rubber compound to prepare a rubber covered roller blank, and preparing a primary rubber covered roller by means of pot type vulcanization; inlaying the ceramic blocks by using the inner rubber layer rubber compound and carrying out plate vulcanization to prepare the outer rubber layer; and carrying out cold bonding forming on the outer rubber layer and the primary rubber covered roller through the adhesive to prepare the rubber covered roller with the ceramic blocks embedded into the outer rubber layer. The preparation method has the beneficial technical effects that a preparation scheme of effectively preparing the rubber covered roller by bonding ceramics and a rubber material is obtained
