Zusammenfassung:Provided is a wick manufacturing method capable of facilitating control of a capillary force of a wick. The wick manufacturing method according to the present invention includes: a step for feeding raw material powder containing metal powder onto a base; a step for acquiring a sintered body by heating the raw material powder on the base; and a step for rolling the sintered body. Forming the sintered body by heating the raw material powder fed onto the base enables formation of a sheet-shaped sintered body. Rolling the sintered body enables the porosity of the sintered body to be controlled after the sintered body has been formed.
