The invention discloses a planarized magneto-optical switch, and belongs to the technical field of laser communication. The planarized magneto-optical switch comprises a Faraday rotor, a polarizer andan analyzer, wherein the Faraday rotor comprises a substrate, and a magneto-optical film layer, a first microstrip line layer and a second microstrip line layer which are symmetrically arranged on two sides of the substrate, the first microstrip line and the second microstrip line are used for providing direct current bias, and the first microstrip line and the second microstrip line are perpendicular to each other.
