Zusammenfassung:	The invention concerns a dial (1) for a timepiece comprising a support (2) and a sheet of mother-of-pearl (3), the sheet of mother-of-pearl (3) having a front face (3a) and a rear face (3b) facing said support (2) and on which a pattern (4) has been printed. The thickness of the sheet of mother-of-pearl (3) is between 50 [mu]m and 300 [mu]m such that the pattern (4) printed on the rear face (3b) of the sheet of mother-of-pearl (3) appears by transparency through the mother-of-pearl under normal lighting conditions.
