The invention relates to the technical field of molecular markers, in particular to a molecular marker primer group based on a camellia oleifera transcriptome hAT transposon and an application thereof. The primer disclosed by the invention is designed aiming at a camellia oleifera transcriptome hAT transposon; seven pairs of designed primers have relatively high polymorphic information content (PIC); good polymorphism is realized; the camellia oleifera varieties can be well distinguished; according to the application, the feasibility of developing the hAT transposon marker by utilizing commoncamellia oleifera is proved; genetic diversity analysis is carried out on common oil-tea camellia, Vietnamese oil-tea camellia and fragrant flower oil-tea camellia, so that novel high-quality molecular markers can be provided for the oil-tea camellia, a good foundation is laid for molecular improvement of the oil-tea camellia, and new primers can be provided for research on genetic breeding, genome mapping, gene localizat
