SENSOR ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A SENSOR ASSEMBLY

The invention relates to a sensor assembly comprising a. at least one sensor element for capturing at least one measurable variable in the form of electric sensor signals, b. a circuit arrangement foroperating the sensor device and for creating sensor data on the basis of the sensor signals and c. at least one configuration data memory for configuration data, wherein the sensor assembly can be operated selectively in various operating modes, namely at least in an active mode, in which sensor data are created, and in a sleep mode, in which no sensor data are created and at least one portion ofthe sensor assembly is de-energized, wherein the circuit arrangement is designed such that the memory content of the at least one configuration data memory is independent of the prevailing operatingmode of the sensor assembly, so that the saved configuration data are retained in a sleep mode, and - wherein the sensor assembly is designed such that the at least one portion, which is de-energizedin the sleep mode, is reconf
