Zusammenfassung:	Disclosed is a vehicle pop-up engine hood device, which is capable of suppressing the occurrence of shock when a movable block of a support mechanism reaches a highest rising position during operationof an actuator. The pop-up engine hood device is provided with an engine hood, an engine hood locking mechanism, a support mechanism for the engine hood locking mechanism, and an actuator for displacing the engine hood locking mechanism upward. The support mechanism is provided with a movable block body for supporting the engine hood locking mechanism, and a base block body (15) for supporting the movable block body so as to be capable of sliding up and down. The base block (15) has a long hole (37) extending in the vertical direction. The movable block body is provided with a protrusion (35a-1) slidably inserted into the long hole (37).
