The straight ladder comprises a plurality of pedal plates and two ladder rods parallelto each other. Two ends of the pedal plates are connected to the two ladder rods, separately, and the pedal plates are arranged in a spaced manner in the length directions of the ladder rods. The anti-toppling assembly is arranged below the straight ladder and comprises a body, wherein the body is internally provided with an accommodation cavity, an insertion hole communicating to the accommodation cavity is formed in the top of the body, the accommodation cavity is internally provided with a first adjusting mechanism, the lower ends of the ladder rods penetrate the insertion hole and lean against the first adjusting mechanism, and the first adjusting mechanism can adjust the angle of the straight ladder in a left-right direction automatically.
