Zusammenfassung: | The invention provides a method and a device for continuously producing a polyester modified trimonomer. According to the method, no catalyst is used, and the chemical reaction formula is disclosed inthe invention; the polyester modified trimonomer is bis (2-hydroxyethyl) isophthalate-5-sodium sulfonate (SIPE). The beneficial effects are that isophthalic acid-5-sodium sulfonate and ethylene glycol are directly esterified, so that the problem of unstable transesterification rate of transesterification reaction in a traditional SIPM production process for preparing SIPE is solved. Besides, no catalyst is needed to be added in the production process of the process method, and a byproduct is water, so that the environmental pollution is effectively reduced.
