The invention relates to a picking device (1), in particular a storage lift (3), comprising at least one removal point (7) for storage products (11) and/or storage product carriers (13). The aim of the invention is to increase the efficiency of the operation of a picking device (1). According to the invention this is achieved in that the picking device (1) is connected to at least one remaining time calculating device (17), by means of which the time remaining until a storage product (11) and/or a storage product carrier (13) being transported in the picking device (1) arrives at the at leastone removal point (7) can be calculated.
