The multi-channel variable-range flow meter comprises a flow meter shell, wherein a main measuring flow channel and at least one auxiliary measuring flow channel are arranged in the flow meter shell, a main flow meter sensor and a differential pressure measuring port are arranged on the main measuring flow channel, a differential pressure sensor is arranged on the differential pressure measuring port, a control valve is arranged on the auxiliary measuring flow channel, when the flow detected by the main flow meter sensor of themain measuring flow channel exceeds a preset threshold value, the control valve of the corresponding auxiliary measuring flow channel is opened, when the flow detected by the main flow meter sensor of the main measuring flow channel is lower than the preset threshold value, the control valve of the corresponding auxiliary flow channel is closed.
