The method comprises the following steps that manganese powder is added into the waste lithium ion battery leachate to remove copper, and filtering is carried out to obtain a copper-removed solution and copper sponge; nickel carbonate and/or cobaltous hydroxide are/is added into the copper-removed solution for pH value regulating, filtering is carried out after stirring, and an aluminum-removed solution and aluminum slag are obtained; an oxidant is added into the aluminum-removed solution, and stirring is carried out to obtain a ferrous-removed solution; and the iron is removed by adopting a goethite method to obtain a purified solution without the copper, the aluminum andthe iron.
