The production method of the wood door comprises the following steps of (1) selecting materials: carrying out surface detection on a panel for producing the wood door; (2) cutting the panel according to a door panel size, cutting into assembled plates, and assembling the assembled plates according to lines so as to obtain a preprocessed door panel, wherein the size of the preprocessed door panel is larger than the size of a formed door plate; and engraving a formed door panel contour line on the preprocessed door panel; (3) carrying out heat steam treatment on the preprocessed door panel, and carrying out heat steam treatment for 3 to 6h; (4) sealing and naturally cooling the preprocessed door panel, and standing for 2 to 3d; and(5) drying the preprocessed door panel.
