The method comprises the following steps: obtaining configuration information of a target commodity in a first platform, wherein first resource quantity is allowed to be different from the second resource quantity, the first resource quantity is the resource quantity of virtual resources used for exchanging the target commodity at the first time, the second resource quantity is the resource quantity of virtual resources used for exchanging the target commodity at the second time, and the second time is different from the first time; determining a state switching mode of a target mode in a plurality of modes according to the configuration information, the mode in the plurality of modes being used for representing a mode used when the target commodity is exchanged by using the virtual resource on the second platform; and switching the state of the target mode on the second platform according to the state
