The elevator buffer includes an oil cylinder, a plunger movably fitted to the oil cylinder, and a reset mechanism for resetting the plunger; the plunger is guided by the oil cylinder; the inner cavity of the plunger communicates with the inner cavity of the oil cylinder; a top cover is arranged on the top of the plunger; the top cover is provided with an oil injection nozzle; and the oil cylinder is provided with an oil level inspection mechanism.
