The evaluation method for the spraying effect of the self-propelled boom sprayer comprises the following steps: a) a plurality of detection points are determined in an operation area in the horizontal direction, a plurality of fog drop collection units are vertically arranged at each detection point, each fog drop collection unitcomprises photo paper, and the photo paper is parallel to the horizontal plane; b) a tracer agent into a liquid medicine box of the self-propelled boom sprayer, and then the self-propelled boom sprayer performs spraying operation in an operation area; and c) after the spraying operation is finished, the fogdrop image formed on the photo paper is analyzed to obtain a spraying effect evaluation result.
