The suspension system comprises a mounting cross beam and a connecting assembly, the mounting cross beam is used for being connected with a frame, one end of the connecting assembly is arranged on the mounting cross beam, and the other end of the connecting assembly is used for being connected with a wheel, so that the mounting cross beamis located below a hub of the wheel. The axle can be moved downwards to be changed into the mounting cross beam through the connecting assembly, so the vehicle height of a lower vehicle body is reduced, and the convenience for people taking the vehicle to get on the vehicle is improved; and on the same chassis development platform, the vehicle height of the lower vehicle body can be adjusted by adjusting the height of the connecting assembly, so that the adjustment range of the vehicle height of the lower vehicle body is expanded, and the requirements of different vehicle types for the vehicleheight of the lower vehic
