The invention relates to a train coupler head comprising: a coupler housing for receiving a mechanical and/or pneumatic coupling element; and a coupler rod which comprises a coupler hanging ring for accommodating a coupling bolt, a coupling bow or other just opposite coupling interfaces, a train hook or other coupling interfaces. The coupler rod is coupled to a first axial end of the coupler housing, the coupler housing comprises a second axial end opposite the first axial end, the second axial end has a coupling opening exposing a coupling element for coupling with a exactly opposite couplingelement, the coupling rod is directly coupled in one piece to the coupling housing, or is coupled in one piece to the coupling housing via a transition portion tapering in the direction of the coupling rod.
