Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a cold worked steel brake piston (1) for a motor vehicle partially lined disc brake, having a thin-walled construction as a pot which is open on one side, comprising a bottom(2) and a wall (3), with a groove (6) which is stamped radially on the outside in the wall (3), and with a wall bracket (7) which is stamped radially on the inside. The invention is based on the object of providing a further improved, stable steel brake piston construction with an improved interface which can equally be provided flexibly and inexpensively in a manner which is suitable for production both for large calibre and for small calibre steel brake pistons (1). The object is achieved by the wall (3) being of profile configuration at a spacing next to the wall bracket (7) with at least one drawn section (14) and at least one field (15) in such a way that the wall (3) has stamped wall surface regions of different thickness which are present spaced apart from one another with an offset(V) in the circumferentia
