Zusammenfassung:The present disclosure relates to a system and a method for improving maintenance plans in the presence of sensor data. A system and a method for generating a sensor driven optimized and/or improved maintenance program are provided. A first maintenance plan for a device type is received; the first maintenance plan defines maintenance tasks for the device type and defines intervals at which the maintenance tasks are to be performed. Historical sensor data, historical scheduled maintenance data, and historical unscheduled maintenance data are received and correlated to determine a predictive value of the sensor data. One or more maintenance improvement objectives of an operator of a device of the device type are received, and the sensor driven optimized and/or improved maintenance program isgenerated, based at least on the predictive value of the sensor data and the maintenance improvement objectives.
