METHOD FOR OPERATING A COMPUTER-BASED INVENTORY OF HARDWARE MODULES OF A ROBOTIC SYSTEM

A method for supporting designing and operation of a robotic system comprises operating a computer-based Inventory (2) configured to operate in a robotic system comprising Hardware Modules (3) to perform a task, the Inventory (2) comprising Hardware Module Descriptions (5) comprising a unique identifier, a description of physical characteristics, a current status and historical data the Hardware Module (3).
