Zusammenfassung:The invention discloses a long-acting fertilization method for carya illinoensis on a steep slope. The long-acting fertilization method comprises the following steps: digging a horizontal fertilization ditch with the same length as the diameter of a tree crown at a position above a tree body, padding a plastic film in the ditch, applying a fertilizer into the fertilization ditch with the bottom part padded with the plastic film, covering the fertilizer with litters like weeds with a thickness of 10 cm, then covering the litters with a layer of soil, and allowing the fertilizer to naturally overflow and flow to a root area to be absorbed by a root system after being dissolved into a liquid during manual watering or raining.
