The method comprises the following steps: adjusting wastewater to be acidic; and then under the action of a mesoporous silica loaded ultraviolet light catalytic oxidation catalyst, reacting with ferric iron salt, manganese dioxide and hydrogen peroxide. Pyridine is rapidly and efficiently oxidized.
