Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a robot wire avoiding method and device, a chip and a sweeping robot. The invention belongs to the field of intelligent robots. Two image acquisition devices are assembled atthe front end of the robot, the two image acquisition devices are assembled in the forward and downward direction in parallel and used for acquiring a front lower area in the advancing direction of the robot, and the method comprises the steps that: the two image acquisition devices are controlled to acquire multiple frames of images of the front lower area at a preset frequency; and a linear object in a current image is recognized through an image recognition algorithm, a straight line linear object in the linear object is screened out through a linear detection algorithm to determine that anon-straight line linear object is a pre-selected linear object, a flexible linear obstacle is selected according to the pre-selected linear object, and the robot is controlled to avoid the flexible linear obstacle.
