The method comprises the steps that X-axis, Y-axis and Z-axis moving digital images and A-axis rotating digital images of a machine tool are collected; calculating the offset of each axis of the machine tool by comparing the digital image of each axis of the machine tool to the initial position and the digital image of each axis after thermal balance of the machine tool; acquiring compensation thermal drift data of each axis of the machine tool according to the offset;feedback compensation is conducted on data of all shafts of the machine tool according to the compensation thermal drift data; the workpiece is machined according to the compensated parameters; and after the workpiece is machined, the appearance contour of the workpiece is detected, and then the machining precision is detected, so that the workpiece is qualified within the error range.
