The invention provides a sensor fixing support which is arranged on an outer side of a front girder of port crane equipment and comprises a sliding groove and a hand-cranking device. The sliding groove comprises a sliding rail, the sensor slides along the sliding rail, the sliding rail extends in a gravity direction, a top of the sliding rail is higher than an upper surface of the front girder, and a bottom of the sliding rail is lower than a lower surface of the front girder; and the hand-cranking device comprises a hand-cranking pulley and a steel wire rope, and the hand-cranking pulley changes the position of the sensor in the sliding groove by winding and unwinding the steel wire rope. The invention also provides a cable protection device which comprises the fixing support, a junctionbox and a cable drag chain.
