Zusammenfassung:The invention discloses a power peak value adjusting system and method for a railway traction substation. The system comprises a power fusion device, a control device and an energy dispatching management device. The power fusion device is arranged in a traction substation and comprises an AC-DC-AC converter and an energy storage device. The control device is used for adjusting the operation stateof the power fusion device; the energy dispatching management device is used for obtaining the current load power value of the traction substation. When the current load power value is smaller than the preset power peak value maximum value, a first instruction signal is outputted to the control device to control the power fusion device to absorb electric energy from the traction network to the energy storage device; and when the current load power value is greater than the maximum value of the preset power peak value, a second instruction signal is outputted to the control device to control energy storage device to re
