The invention discloses a detection system and a detection method. The detection system provided by an embodiment of the invention comprises a light-transmitting film, an image capturing device and alight detection module, wherein the light-transmitting film and the image capturing device are sequentially arranged on a light-emitting light path of a light-emitting module. When the light-emittingmodule emits light to the light-transmitting film, the image capturing device is used for shooting the light-transmitting film to form a shot image, and the brightest area in the shot image corresponds to an area to be detected of the light-emitting module. And the light detection module is aligned with the area to be detected for detection so as to acquire the maximum light power of the light-emitting module. According to the detection system and the detection method, the light-emitting module irradiates the light-transmitting film, the image capturing device shoots the light-transmitting film to form the shot image,
