Zusammenfassung:The invention discloses a method of rice photoperiod insensitive variety breeding. Rice materials are respectively planted under a normal condition and a light pollution condition, and the growth periods of the rice materials under the two environment conditions are compared; photoperiod insensitive resources are screened, and varieties with excellent agronomic characters are utilized to hybridizeor backcross and self-cross with photoperiod insensitive materials; and planting and screening are carried out under the light pollution condition, planting is simultaneously performed under the twoconditions after phenotype is stabilized, and the successful breeding of the photoperiod insensitive materials can be indicated when heading dates are the same.
