Zusammenfassung:The invention discloses a method for breaking dormancy of garlic to promote germination and rooting. The method disclosed by the invention has the following steps: putting the garlic in a fresh-kept bag containing O2 of which the permeation flux is 7500cm /m to 25000cm /m x24hx0.1 MPa and CO2 of which the permeation flux is 28000cm /m to 81000cm /m x24hx0.1 MPa, and then storingthe garlic at a temperature of 3 DEG C to 6 DEG C for 30 days to 100 days. According to the method disclosed by the invention, by utilizing multiple effects of gas, temperature and humidity, germination of garlic bulbus is stimulated, and a dormancy period of the garlic is greatly shortened; the phenomena that worsening of quality, such as dehydration, wilting and shrivelling, and rotting and moldiness of garlic seeds can be effectively inhibited in processes of promoting rooting and germination, and the quality of the garlic is maintained preferably.
