Zusammenfassung:The invention discloses a visible light and infrared camera rapid registration method. That is to say, the image shooting distance is determined according to the nearest effective distance and the farthest effective distance. Images of a plurality of groups of checkerboard calibration plates are simultaneously shot by visible light and infrared cameras, sub-pixel-level angular points of the imagesshot by the two cameras are detected, and a homography matrix H is calculated according to a least square method or singular value matrix decomposition, so that rapid registration of the visible light and infrared cameras can be completed. The method is simple and easy to implement; a checkerboard calibration board universal for visible light and infrared cameras is used for collecting corner pairs, and compared with an SURF algorithm, the collected corner pairs are more accurate; according to the method, complex feature point pair matching calculation and registration transformation matrix calculation are not needed
