Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a process comprising the step of melt-mixing a semi-aromatic polyamide (A) having a melting point on second heating of 295 degrees or less comprising terephthalamide repeat units and a polyamide oligomer (B) comprising terephthalamide repeat units and having an amine end group concentration of less than 2000 me q/Kg and an inherent viscosity of at least 0.10, at atemperature which is greater than the melting point on first heating of both semi-aromatic polyamide (A) and polyamide oligomer (B) for a time period sufficient to produce semi-aromatic polyamide (C)having a melting point on second heating which is greater than or equal to 300 degrees. 本发明涉及一种方法,所述方法包括以下步骤:将在第二次加热时具有295℃或更低的熔点并包含对苯二甲酰胺重复单元的半芳族聚酰胺(A)与包含对苯二甲酰胺重复单元并具有小于2000meq/Kg的胺端基浓度和至少为0.10的特性粘度的聚酰胺低聚物(B)在高于第一次加热时半芳族聚酰胺(A)和聚酰胺低聚物(B)的熔点的温度下熔融混合,保持足够产生在第二次加热时熔点大于或等于300℃的半芳族聚酰胺(C)的时间段。
