A dicyclopentadiene structure is introducedinto the resin through various ways such as hydrolysis semi-esterification, addition and end capping, so that the content of dicyclopentadiene in non-volatile components of the resin is more than orequal to 40wt% and is at a higher level than that of a reported dicyclopentadiene modified resin; trihydric alcohol and tetrahydric alcohol are used, thus the resin has a branched structure and a higher molecular weight; a structure similar to a gemini surfactant is introduced, the resin is endowed with good water dilutability and wettability.
