The invention discloses a device for efficiently heating a photovoltaic module. The device comprises a semiconductor heater and a control circuit. The semiconductor heater is used for locally and intensively heating the photovoltaic module, and the control circuit is used for controlling the starting and stopping of the semiconductor heater. The control circuit comprises a light sensation controller and a current detection controller which are connected in series, wherein the light sensation controller or the current detection controller is electrically connected with the semiconductor heater,and the light sensation controller is switched on in the presence of light, or otherwise, the light sensation controller is switched off; and the current detection controller is closed when detectingthat the generation current of the photovoltaic module is smaller than a set constant value, or otherwise, the current detection controller is opened.
