Zusammenfassung:	The invention provides a method for preparing a chitosan oligosaccharide monomer by modifying chitosan oligosaccharide with aromatic aldehyde. The method comprises the following steps: dissolving chitosan oligosaccharide and adding aromatic aldehyde for modification; then loading the sample to a macroporous resin chromatographic column; carrying out gradient elution by using 0-70% ethanol aqueoussolution; using an ultraviolet detector for monitoring the peak condition of the aromatic aldehyde modified chitosan oligosaccharide monomer on line at the wavelength of 260 to 280nm; and collecting acorresponding aromatic aldehyde modified chitosan oligosaccharide monomer eluent; removing ethanol through rotary evaporation, adjusting the pH value to 1.5-2.5 by using a diluted hydrochloric acid solution, performing stirring at room temperature to fully release free aromatic aldehyde and chitosan oligosaccharide monomers, adding macroporous resin to adsorb the free aromatic aldehyde to obtaina chitosan oligosaccharide
