The invention provides a strain of thermophilic anaerobic emulsification geobacillus sp. YR-3 which is hereinafter referred to as YR-3. The YR-3 is obtained by screening a sample from an oil-water well of the Shengli oil field and repeatedly screening emulsifying property under the condition of 60 DEG C and conducting subculturing. The strain is submitted for preservation on September 12th, 2018,and the preservation number is CGMCC No. 16467. The growth temperature of the strain is 50 to 75 DEG C; the growth pH value range is 5 to 8; the salt tolerance is 0 to 100 percent; the emulsificationviscosity reduction rate of fermentation liquid is greater than 90 percent; and the recovery ratio is improved by more than 12 percent in a physical simulation experiment.
